There are several ways to get from Venice Airport (also known as Marco Polo Airport) to Venice city center:

Water Taxi: Water taxis are the most glamorous and convenient way to get from Venice airport to the city center. They offer a beautiful view of Venice’s canals and take you directly to your destination. However, they are also the most expensive option.

Alilaguna Water Bus: Alilaguna is a public water bus service that operates from the airport to Venice city center. It is a more affordable option than water taxis and offers a scenic ride along the Venetian lagoon.

ACTV Bus: ACTV is the local public transportation company in Venice, and it offers a bus service from the airport to Piazzale Roma, the main bus terminal in Venice. From there, you can take a vaporetto (water bus) or walk to your destination.

Private Car Transfer: You can also book a private car transfer from the airport to your hotel or any other destination in Venice. This is a convenient option if you have a lot of luggage or if you are traveling with a group. The car or van will take you to Piazzale Roma, which is the bus and car terminal in Venice, really convenient if you do have the hotel in this area. Otherwise the van will take you Piazzale Roma and at that point if the hotel is not there you have to switch into a private boat ride that the private rent a car transfer company can set for you, or catch the vaporetto which is the public boat .
